ePRISM® and Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City nominated as finalist for ClearMark Award

HOS and Saint Luke’s Hospital were named as finalists in the 2010 CareMark competition for rewritten documents that bring improvement to healthcare.  The Center for Plain Language presents this award to the companies that, in their opinion, have provided a better, more readable and understandable approach to either written documents, or web sites.  Saint Luke’s Hospitals rewrite of their Informed Consent document, and the integration of this document into the ePRISM software platform was selected as a finalist out of over 160 entries in the competition.  In addition to this public acknowledgement, Saint Luke’s believes that this approach has improved patient education, shared decision making and over-all patient satisfaction within their healthcare system.
