Software developers and vendors who create applications for healthcare professionals can take advantage of ePRISM®'s advanced XML web services infrastructure to provide their customers with direct access to the latest clinical risk-models.

ePRISM®'s Remote Modeling Service allows clients to retrieve detailed listings of all risk models on an ePRISM® host server. Clients can then request an XML-formatted collection of all non-redundant parameters for a selected group of models that can be rendered through a simple XSL/XST transformation. Patient data can be entered and/or reviewed on the client application prior to submission to the ePRISM® host server for processing, with results returned to the client for display to the user and/or further processing.

By leveraging ePRISM®'s robust modeling engine, developers can free themselves from having to code and maintain the complex mathematical relationships that comprise today's modern clinical risk models. Support for industry-standard data exchange protocols, such as SOAP, greatly simplifies host-client communications. Furthermore, developers using Microsoft's .NET platform can streamline their code generation by taking advantage of .NET's XML web service proxy class to handle the work of mapping parameters to XML elements and creating SOAP messages.

A number of sample application projects illustrating coding techniques for accessing ePRISM®'s XML web services are available to help developers get up and running quickly. Contact us to learn more about how ePRISM® can help open the door to powerful risk-modeling services in your applications while allowing the developers in your company to focus their energies and expertise on your own applications and services.
